Essential cookies

A small number of cookies keep the site functioning, remembering whether you have dismissed a notice and holding basic display preferences. They carry no personal information and the site does not work properly without them.

Analytics cookies

Aggregated measurement of which pages are read, how long for and roughly where from. It tells us which reviews matter to readers and which testing to prioritise next. Individual readers are not identified.

Affiliate cookies

When you follow a commercial link, the operator sets a cookie so any resulting registration is attributed correctly. That cookie belongs to the operator and lives under its privacy policy, not ours. It does not give us access to your account or your activity.

Turning them off

Every browser can block or delete cookies from its settings. Blocking analytics costs you nothing here. Blocking affiliate cookies costs us the commission and costs you nothing at all, and you are welcome to do it.

Changes

If we add anything beyond the categories above, this page is updated before it goes live.
