Closed to every brand on this site without exception. Washington state law treats online gambling far more strictly than any other jurisdiction in the country and operators do not attempt to work around it. If you are in Washington, none of these accounts will open.

Idaho, Michigan, Montana and Nevada

Restricted rather than uniformly closed. Some brands exclude one or more of these states as a matter of internal policy and others accept them. The individual brand rules page is the only authoritative answer, and our reviews note exclusions where the operator publishes them.

Everywhere else

The remaining states are generally open, subject to age. Most brands set eighteen as the minimum and some set twenty-one regardless of state law, so check before you register rather than after.

How they check

Every brand geolocates at sign-up and again at redemption. A virtual private network will not help you and will usually cost you the balance, because using one to misrepresent your location breaches the terms at every operator we tested. Accounts closed for that reason do not get paid.
